Why Not?

When I raise above and sing my song,
The mornings mist give way to the sun’s glowing promise.

When I take back my time, and all I’ve thought I’ve lost returns
Giving me more than I ever thought.

When I try to find more, I sometimes find
Its there already, I just don’t know it

Funny, when I think about what I’m really curious about
The knowledge has always been there, at my beck and call.

But, how do you know what you already know?

Sitting down and really thinking
is of the one thing we so seldom do.

Now, my only question is.....

Why Not?
